Description
The Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C Power Supply is the recommended power supply for Raspberry Pi 5, designed to support high-performance operation and power-hungry USB peripherals such as hard drives and SSDs connected to the four Type-A USB ports. When used with Raspberry Pi 5, the power supply automatically enables higher current availability for USB peripherals, increasing the USB current limit to ensure stable operation under heavy system and peripheral loads. This makes it ideal for advanced projects, continuous operation, and demanding workloads.
In addition to powering Raspberry Pi 5, the Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C Power Supply supports multiple USB Power Delivery (PD) profiles, allowing it to power a wide range of third-party PD-compatible devices. Supported voltage profiles include 9V at 3A, 12V at 2.25A, and 15V at 1.8A, with total output power limited to 27W. The power supply operates across a wide input voltage range, making it suitable for global use. It features an integrated USB-C cable and is available in black or white variants.
