Description
This motor is best for low-speed, lightweight positioning applications. If your project needs high speed or high torque, a larger stepper motor may be more suitable.
Wire configuration:
- Blue: Phase 1
- Pink: Phase 2
- Yellow: Phase 3
- Orange: Phase 4
- Red: Common positive (+5 V)
The common red wire connects to the motor supply through the appropriate driver-board arrangement.
Recommended driver
- ULN2003 driver module
- Designed for driving small unipolar stepper motors.
- Provides four control inputs and four motor-phase outputs.
- Commonly supplied with the 28BYJ-48.
- Use a suitable 5 V supply for the motor; do not connect the motor windings directly to microcontroller GPIO pins.
Typical applications
- Small robotic mechanisms
- Camera positioning
- Automatic blinds and vents
- Rotating displays
- Lightweight valve or dial positioning
Technical specifications
